"Blackboard Jungle" is the controversial high school film about juvenile delinquency that stirred emotions & shook audiences in the 50's. Ford is the new teacher in town. This was the first major studio film to look closely at student teacher conflicts & is best remembered today for its opening credit sequence, which features the Bill Haley classic "Rock Around the Clock".
